Terminology

  • The terms 'website' or 'site' refer to the webpages provided at www.sri-connect.com
  • The terms 'SRI-CONNECT', 'us', 'we', 'our' or similar refer to the owner of the website - SRI-CONNECT Limited.
  • The terms 'you', 'your' or similar refer to the user or viewer of our website.
  • The term 'Content' refers to any information, image, media or data recorded on the website in any format.
  • The term 'Services' refers to the various information and facilities made available through the SRI-CONNECT website, as well as mobile applications, which have been provided to enable users of our site to develop, maintain and enhance a network of contacts, seek expert advice and knowledge, and create, share, and distribute information in collaboration with one another.
  • The term 'SRI Network' refers to the ‘social networking’ components of the site – including all features that enable users to communicate with others whether directly or by posting information to the site.
  • ‘Site users’ or ‘users’ are any organisations or individuals that use the site. There are three user types:
    • ‘Unregistered browser’ refers to a user who has not registered with the site – through their continued use of the site, they are considered bound by the terms in this ‘Conditions of Use’, but have not formally agreed to them
    • ‘Registered user’ is a user that has registered and created a public profile of themselves on the site. They formally agree to the site’s Conditions of Use upon registration.
    • ‘Subscribed member’ is a ‘registered user’ that has enhanced their access to the site by paying a membership fee.  They too agree to the Conditions of Use upon registration
  • The term ‘Poster’ refers to a user of the site user that posts information to the SRI Network, and the term ‘post’ refers to the act of uploading information for publication on the site using the Services provided.
  • The term ‘Viewer’ refers to a user of the site that views information
  • ‘Third Parties’ are organisations and individuals that have not been accepted as registered users of the SRI-CONNECT site.
